About Mingoal
What is Mingoal?
Mingoal is club-management software for organizers running real-world clubs, communities, and recurring events. Members, events with RSVPs and check-in, paid memberships and tickets, a merch store, and a branded member portal all live in one place.
Who is Mingoal for?
Run clubs, book clubs, supper clubs, cycling groups, hobby meetups, alumni chapters, and membership organizations — from free hobby groups to paid communities.
How is Mingoal different from Meetup or Luma?
Meetup and Luma are great for one-off events, but you don't own the relationship with your members and can't run paid memberships, a store, or your own branded site. Mingoal gives you a full club home — payments, a member portal, and your own domain — not just an events listing.
Can I take payments?
Yes, on paid plans. Connect Stripe and charge for memberships, event tickets, and merch. Funds go straight to your own Stripe account; Mingoal takes a small platform fee that drops as you move up plans (7% on Free down to 0% on Scale).
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Grow plans get a custom subdomain (community.yourclub.com) and Scale supports a full custom domain (yourclub.com) for your public club site and member portal.
Is there an API?
Yes — a public REST API (plus an MCP server and CLI) is available on Scale. See mingoal.com/developers for docs and the OpenAPI spec.
Getting started
How do I create a club?
Sign up, click 'Create club' on your dashboard, and walk through the four-step setup. You'll pick a name, a category, a cover photo, and a description. The whole thing takes about three minutes.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan is fully functional and never asks for a card. You only enter payment details when you decide to upgrade to Pro or Scale.
Can I move my existing community over?
Yes. You can import members from a CSV, send a bulk invite email, or just share your club's join link in your existing group chat or Discord. Most organizers do all three.
Events
How many events can I host?
Free clubs can host one active event per month. Pro and Scale clubs have unlimited events. An 'active event' is one that hasn't ended yet; past events don't count toward the limit.
Can I sell tickets?
Yes, on Pro and Scale. You connect a Stripe account, set a ticket price (or pay-what-you-want), and members can buy from the event page. Funds land in your Stripe account on the normal payout schedule.
Can members RSVP without an account?
Public events accept guest RSVPs by email. They'll get a confirmation and reminder, and we'll prompt them to make an account once they've shown up to a couple of events.
Billing
How does upgrading work?
From your dashboard or any club's manage screen, click 'Upgrade'. You'll be taken to a Stripe checkout page, and the upgrade kicks in immediately after a successful payment.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the manage screen and your plan will stay active until the end of the current billing period. After that you drop back to Free, with no data deleted.
Do you offer refunds?
If something went wrong on our end or you signed up by mistake, email billing@mingoal.com within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Members
How do members join my club?
Share your club's invite link, send an email invite from the manage screen, or, for public clubs, let people find you through search and apply to join.
Can I remove a member?
Yes. From the members screen, click on any member and choose 'Remove'. Removed members lose access to the club portal and event pages immediately.
How do I message everyone at once?
Use the announcements feature from the manage screen. On Free, announcements show up in the in-app feed. On Pro and Scale, announcements also go out as email broadcasts.
